Is Here For Good
Days until Texas A&M's 150th Anniversary

In 2026, Texas A&M University invites Aggies everywhere to stand together to celebrate 150 years as a force for good in Texas, the nation and beyond. What began as the state’s first land-grant institution with just 35 students and six faculty members has grown into a university serving more than 81,000 students with over 4,300 faculty across multiple locations. The 150th Celebration – our sesquicentennial – will remember our past, embrace our present and dream our future, engaging faculty, staff, students, former students and the broader Aggie Family from every corner of the world.

Honoring Tradition

Tradition binds us together as Aggies. It’s in the way we greet each other and the way we honor those who have passed before us. It’s in the way we yell for our Fightin’ Texas Aggies at Kyle Field and the way we serve others. We honor our traditions while looking together toward our future.
